Breed Specific Legislation is a topic that has been scourging throughout the United States. It is a 'document' stating that dogs that are over 40lbs and seemingly LOOK vicious should be removed and killed.
Thats quite like saying something like, a child who looks like it could become a killer needs to be killed when born. Does that sound right?
If you're sane in the head, then it probably doesnt. But why is it different when it comes to a dog and a baby? Is it because you are smarter? Hm. Sedol children or adults are not taken away from thier families because they are thought of to be lower than we are. Come to think of it, serial killers arent even given the treatment the dogs are. Killers are given a second chance, these animals arent. And they havent even committed a crime.
Although many dogs are discriminated against, there is one breed who is hated and thought most to be evil.
The american pit bull terrier.
Thousands amoung thousands are left to die in a shelter, waiting on death row. These innocent dogs are thought of to be a naturally vicious dog-breed.
Its not true.
Long ago, we made bred these dogs that way. We actually wanted them to be vicious, so we could be provided entertainment of dogs tearing eachother up limb from limb.
And now, they must suffer from our mistakes.
And yet, the world is still shadowed in the truth that it is not the dogs fault, and for that it is the human race's. We have a caused this, but together, we can see it through to stop this madness from continuing.
For they could be coming to take away your dog next.
